He returned to the entry room where the Vile was and headed north. At this point, Link had explored most of the dungeon, so he went to the place he had yet to explore. Once they were lit, a chest appeared! Inside, Link found the seventh small key. Link pulled out his new Magic Rod, and lit the torches blocked by the barricades with fire balls. Those looked like they packed power! When there was an opening, Link got behind Blaino and hit him in the back. He did, however, take care to dodge the Blaino's punches when it looked like he wound them up. Link avoided Blaino's punches easily enough, but found if he did get hit, they didn't do too much damage. In the next room, Link saw that his path was blocked by blue tiles, so he instead went south. Link confirmed he could not defeat the jumping fire enemies in this passage, so he made sure to steer clear of them as he jumped over to the next door. He then back tracked to the room to go up to the walkway again, then east to the stairs blocked by the square blocks.įrom here, Link hookshot to a block on the platform with the silver locked block in this room, and went down the stairs it opened up. He opened the locked silver block here and went east, jumped down, then east again until he was blocked by another block, which he opened. To shoot a Bomb Arrow, equip them both at the same time, and press both buttons! Link pushed the block in front of the chest on the left down, then went to the right side of the block directly in front of the chest and pushed it to the west. Link claimed the small key that dropped and went south, collecting the items here before returning.īack in the weird statue room, Link made a left, finding yet another chest. With the Boomerang, Link defeated the Sparks, and then shot the odd-looking statue in the eye with the bow, by standing on the platform on the south end. He went to the left side of the room and headed south. He continued heading left until he entered a room that had a Vile. Link opened it and snatched the fourth small key before hastily running to the left. He rained bombs upon the Dodongo Snakes below until they had had their fill of explosives and subsequently passed on.Ī Chest appeared after Link defeated them both. This reminded him of the Owl Statue's tip from earlier: attack from above to get the key! Link put a bomb down, then picked it up to throw at the Dodongo Snakes at the right time, causing them to eat them. He pushed the block on the right to the right, opening up a path that lead to a locked silver block. He pushed it north so it made a path to the other side, between the blocks. Link went north over the lava, and went back to the contraption by the lave ahead. Prize in hand he continued west, hopping over the lava and ignoring the treasure chest (it was a fake!), and continuing westward, ignoring everything, until he found himself back at the first room. He pushed the contraption and directed it to fill up the gap, by first sticking to the righthand ledge, then going south with the same direction. He broke it with a bomb, but then returned to the previous room with the large gap. Link struck the crystal switch to turn it orange, then turned his attention to the cracked wall on the left. He bombed it, then went through the opening it made. Immediately, Link noticed the cracked wall on the northwest most space of the platform. Link then defeated the enemies to unlock the door he came from, and then went back through it to the north, and made a left. Link then took the door to the south, and opened the treasure chest there to find the Stone Beak. He defeated it quickly, and snatched up the Fairy it left behind. Link remembered to pick up the ball it threw and to throw it back at it, keeping its distance so it bounced back to Link. So, Link broke the jars in front of the locked door, finding a button that opened it.Īgain, an enemy from a previous dungeon greeted Link on the other side. He successfully reflected a Beamos' attack, then focused on the zol. Using the Roc's Feather, Link jumped across the passageway to the ladder on the other side, and then immediately rose his shield when he ascended. Once he defeated the enemies here, a secret stairwell appeared in the northeast corner of the room. There, he found a secret button! Link activated it, unlocking the other doors in this room. In the room full of jars, Link broke the pots in the northwest corner by the lava. With that out of the way, Link ignored the wall for now and returned to the first room using Manbo's Mambo, and headed east. He pushed it north, then used the path it left behind to get to a cracked wall.įirst, Link pushed the block up top to the left, the bottom to the left, then the center block north, gaining him access to the chest on the other side. To the right, he found that weird, floor-laying contraption by some lava. Use your Ocarina to go back to the entrance if you'd like.
